Some Zemismart Zigbee devices require a dedicated SmartThings Edge Driver to ensure full functionality, especially for devices using custom Zigbee clusters or TS0601 Tuya-based profiles. SmartThings Edge Drivers run locally on your SmartThings Hub and help improve device compatibility, stability, and response speed.
This guide explains how to install the Zemismart driver and assign your Zigbee device to the correct driver.
Step 1: Join the Zemismart SmartThings Driver Channel
Open the Zemismart SmartThings Driver Channel invitation link:
- Log in with your Samsung Account.
- Click Accept.
- Find your SmartThings Hub from the list.
- Click Enroll to add your Hub to the Zemismart Driver Channel.
After enrolling, your Hub will have access to the available Zemismart Edge Drivers. SmartThings provides this shared channel method for developers to distribute custom Edge Drivers to users.
Step 2: Install the Required Driver
After your Hub has joined the driver channel:
- Open the Edge Drivers page.
- Select your enrolled SmartThings Hub.
- Click Available Drivers.
- Find the driver matching your Zemismart device.
- Click Install.

Step 3: Add or Reassign Your Zemismart Device
After installing the driver:
- Open the SmartThings App.
- Add your Zemismart Zigbee device, or open an existing device.
- If the device is already added but using an incorrect driver:
- Open the device page.
- Go to device settings.
- Select Driver.
- Change it to the installed Zemismart driver.
After switching to the correct driver, your device should be recognized properly and all supported functions will become available.
Supported Zemismart SmartThings Products
For Zemismart WWST (Works With SmartThings) certified products, some models can connect directly to SmartThings without requiring an additional SmartThings Edge Driver or custom Driver.
Users can simply add the device through the SmartThings App and enjoy native SmartThings integration.
